Enjoyed seeing a real slice of Mexico. The mercado and pneumonia cabs were great.

Loved our time in Mazatlan . We took a short cab ride to the water taxi and went across to Stone Island. It has the most stunning beach that happened to be fairly quiet when we went because it was a weekday. The weekends are very busy with locals. There are many restaurants along the beach where you can use their umbrellas and loungers and can order food and drinks. I believe there is a ship excursion that goes to stone Island. One thing the food is delicious … fresh seafood everywhere. Just to note we waded in the water up to our knees its not great for swimming cuz there can be rip tides.

Mazatlan was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed walking through town to the Malecon. We would visit again.
