We took a tour bus for 3 hours. We have been there before so didn't do any beaches or hotels.

did not like it at all. we did not find an excursion we would like, took a taxi around town, went back to the ship early to enjoy the pools

Mazatlan is a fun city. Even if you don’t go on an excursion it’s fun to hang out in the welcome area. We did a fabulous tour to Stone Island, rode horseback and rented an ATV.

We hired a tour guide that showed us some sights and dropped us off at El Faro. It’s a great hike!

City tour and beach were great. Constant badgering by vendors almost ruined day. Some of our group did parasailing which was great.

Mostly slums outside of the port, but had a well managed port and terminal.

The Salsa Salsa excursion is not worth the price.

Turned left as we left the port terminal and followed the brick wall all the way to end. Crossed the road headed down dirt driveway(kinda sketchy looking) you will see a ticket office at end about 500'. 2.00 get you a round trip to stone island. Nice beach, stingray flags up and we saw a couple but never seen anyone get stung with lots of people in the water. Get lounger from a restaurant as long as you order some food or drinks. Prices were very good. 2.00 bowl of fries or onion rings and 2.00 for a beer. Lots of vendors just say no thanks and they move along.
