A to the point review of El Cid El moro in Mazlatan for those interested. Taxi was 10 usd each way. It was $41 pp All inclusive(we were told in an email from that stated they took credit card for day passes but we were informed upon arrival that they only take cash for day passes so make sure you bring cash). First off it was a very pretty beach and pool area with water falls. Second the drinks were decent as was the food. Third it was not "All inclusive" as we had been told. Food included is only at 2 restaurants 1. The buffet 2. A restaurant near the beach with q fantastic view that was basic sandwiches and burgers, soups and salad. Pool side food was not included and that was a huge bummer as they had a much better menu. Like shrimp tacos. We did get a deal on a massage at thier Granada property which they shuttled us to and from. 1 hr couples massage for $100 USD reg price was $78 USD PP it was very good. If you have children I am sure they would love this place especially the water slide! As adults with no kids it was mediocre. The beach had way to many vendors constant harrassment. I cannot even say how many times we said no thank you. But we just went back to the pool area. For the price it was a decent value. It wasn't extraordinary. I can't say we would be to interested in going back to this resort. They do have several other properties but they do not offer day passes. We still had a good time cause we chose to smile about the positive.

No excursion. We walked out to where the cliff divers were, had lunch along the waterfront, then met some friends at the plaza for drinks. Very authentic.

Ee walked the “Blue Line” to the center of town. Part of the blue line has been repaved but there are ex-pat volunteers at each major turn and police volunteers every other block. We felt very safe and welcome. The police helped us cross a busy street that lacked stop signs or signals. We then proceeded to the shore and caught a cliff diver in his dive.

Loved IT! Recommend NOT doing one of the extravagant excursions...we just di the Hop On/ Hop Off bus tour. Super affordable and you stop at 4 locations throughout town and can roam as you please. the busses come every 30 minutes. Old Town was by far our favorite. Spent 2 hours just roaming the streets in Old Town. Beautiful

Port is industrial so view from ship is not very nice and port shopping is not very good but our excursion to Stone Island through Mazatlán tours was great. Lunch and open bar made this an awesome day.

Mazatlan was hands down my favorite port on this cruise. We booked the Deer Island kayaking excursion and had a great time. Our guide was amazing .... Ulysses gave us all the insights to this beautiful city as we drove from the port to the boat landing and back. He made me want to come back and explore more of the city.

We went to Beach Resort Getaway in Mazatlan, from NCL Bliss. We had a fabulous day. Beautiful beach. Great resort. Delicious buffet, great and many pools at resort. Our tour guide also took us to some good shopping. Great taxi service (included) back to ship. Resort employees were friendly and helpful. 5 star.

We’ve been to Mazatlan before. It’s not a place we feel comfortable exploring on our own. So we chose Salsa & Salsa. Our recommendation is DO IT if you can. A+ activity. Probably not too much fun for kids though. Informative & pretty bus ride to a beach front resort in the middle of the city. Margarita, strong or virgin, hibiscus iced tea or water handed to us on the way to large open air area. Eight at a table, table set with many bowls of ingredients and items needed to make salsas and margaritas. We made 6 salsas, two margaritas and then learned to salsa dance as a large group. Taquitos, quesadillas & ICE CREAM served to accompany our homemade salsas! Very good. Three cruise ships there on our day but plenty of space, bathrooms and most importantly- organization! This outfit knows how to do what they do very well with a crowd . High energy, audience participation and so fun! Souvenir table at back set up with items used for preparation of salsas, T-shirts and other things. Most fun day on our cruise!

This was our favourite. We did the Shrimp Fest. I would highly recommend this. It was at this woman’s own house. She was very welcoming and very informative. The gardens were gorgeous as was the eating area and the pool. The margaritas were flowing and delicious. The food was amazing especially the coconut shrimp and the guacamole. There was a guy playing the saxaphone and the views were amazing. It was the least commercial excursion and we loved it.
