Only had a shuttle to a small shopping area at the end of the dock. Would’ve had to take a taxi to town. Areas around the port didn’t look safe to walk so just stayed onboard Excursions too expensive

stay away form the old town shopping because it is very dirty; new town is amazing and has amazing beaches; if you walk to old town (about 3 miles) then you will see some of the best sites. Panchos's restaraunt is great on the beach.Shopping is overpriced.

We really enjoyed Mazatlan. Wish we had been able to see the parade.

So nice, but definitely more of a border town. Had a private tour by taxi for $10 it was great and learned a lot! There is a rest. that the locals go to that is walking distance from the pier, really good and you get a free corona with your meal.
