Used the hop on and off excursion and it was fine. Had an enjoyable time in the market next to the Cathedral and walking around the downtown area.

BEEN THERE SEVERAL TIMES. WE DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE IN THE TOWN. WE GET OFF THE SHIP AND VISIT THE LOCAL "FLEEMARKET" INSIDE THE FENCE AND ENJOY A MARGIRITA OR TWO.

We started walking into town, but an ankle injury flared up, and we wound up hailing a cab. The driver took us to a chiropractor and stayed with us until I'd been treated. Sergio was great...but we didn't get to see any of the city.

Matazalan is always a crap shoot - sometimes good, sometimes not as good. Did not go ashore this time.
