Regret not doing an organized excursion. Heard the beaches were lovely.

Industrial port, but take a taxi (25 min-$10) to the Hotel resort district, and it's really quite beautiful.

The best of three. Growth of the city and population was grand to see.

Same as above. First time there, very small but worth seeing once.

We didn't even go in to port. The excursions available were not exciting and the ship didn't even have shop or restaurants that they recommended.

We took the 7 hour colonial tour and visited the indian ruins and had lunch in a small town (Colina) where we felt we saw the true way they live.

Went snorkeling and horseback riding on our own at Boquita Beach (sp?). A place where mostly locals seemed to be, which was very relaxing. Very friendly service in restaurant.

Looking at the port there is not much to see, very industrial. However when you got into the city it was fun shopping. We did not choose to take a taxi or a shore excursion but from reports that we received from friends that did they were very worth the expense.
