Had a fabulous experience snorkeling with sea lions! The water was seriously cold and the excursion supplied wet suits, which was a new experience for me. It was memorable, however, the tour guide (American) could not communicate with the crew (Mexican) and i think that is potentially troublesome. I speak English and Spanish fluently and I know the tour guide often told the crew and captain some things that they did not comprehend and vice versa. We saw some wonderful sea life-it was a real thrill.

We went to the Serpentario on our own. It's not the nicest habitat for its creatures, but better than some we've seen. The people in charge seem to be doing their best with limited funds. We saw snakes, iguanas, other reptiles, turtles and there's an area for small birds and bunnies where one can go in and feed them.

We went to the city as well as the beach. I so wished I wouldn't have picked this location and went to Puerta Vallarta instead. Its a place I will never go to again, or if I go on a cruise wouldn't bother getting off. So glad I didn't book an excursion
