shopping at Plya De Carmen. take taxi with another couple for $13 each couple round trip can't beat it. see the city and you are safe with policemen holding automatic weapons.

The prices are unbelievable. Sometimes you cannot understand what the locals are saying but they are very friendly and eager to get you to your destination.

The public beach was nice but should have been explaned that topless is an option for families.

The Mayas ruins was the best to see and of course the beach water is very beautiful to swim in

Again we did not plan anything in particular when in Playa Del Carmen. The beach is stunning and a wonderful place to sink into a beach chair with a cold beer or margarita! My 11 y/o had a blast with all of the street vendors and shopping. Senor Frogs was a great place for dinner at the end of the day.
