Senor Frog was a good spot to eat at. The beaches were beautiful. The water was blue and clear.

There is nothing at Calica, it is a short drive from Playa del Carmen. Take a taxi and driver for the day for your best value.

We went to see a resort about 45 mins from port but I heard that the beach and town was lovely. Did not take a tour because they were too expensive.

We visted the ruins at Tulum, which were amazing and is a beautiful site. Wish there weren't so many tourists, though. We also went to Xel-ha which was relaxing and fun.

this is a cement factory in mexico which happens to have a port, so you have to go in a cab to playa del carmen or else where.

This pier was nothing more than a sand pit, and if you wanted to go anywhere else you were at the mercy of the taxi drivers who on the way back shamelessly gouged you.

Again, the water at the beach was gorgeous too. We also shopped at Playa Del Carmen. There was a lot of good shopping but some of the shop owners were outside trying to get you to come into the shop. I didn't like that part.

This was too expensive to visit on your own since there was no prepared transportation unless you took a tour and there was not enough time for shopping and tours.

Compared to other ports in Mexico, Calica's so nice! It's very clean. The Beach Break was such a good deal and our guide was great! Open bar!
