The Cancun shopping and tour was not that great. Very touristy and not much of Mexico seen. The ride is also over an hour long.

All activities at this port require motorized transportation. Area beaches are the greatest, and people are nice. Found some nicer merchandise here than seen in Cozumel.

The snorkling trip and the skin diving trip was a waste of time if you have done this sport before. If it is your first time your fine otherwise don't bother. A must to see was the City - Playa De Carman" - The ancient ruins in Cancun are worth the trip if you enjoy history.

The only problem I saw was that the port was too far from everything.

There isn't anything to do at Calica, so you have to go to Playa del Carmen. Playa del Carmen is interesting to see, once, but don't plan on spending much time there unless you have some money you're itching to blow.
