We did the ultimate dolphin swim through carnival. Well, the dolphins were awesome and so were the trainers. No picture taking allowed..... your know why? Because they sell them and the lowest package is 225.00. Yes.... just for pictures. No individual pics available for sale. Then...we had our watches on ship time. Our watches said 2pm..we went to the waiting area to get on the second part of the excursion (speed boat to the arch). The lady said, wait here until your 4pm boat. We were shocked.. wait 2 hours? Come to find out, she was on local time. Even after telling her we were from the cruise and tinkering with the idea of skipping the arch due to time limitations, she never put together that we were on ship time. With her knowledge of her being on Mexico time and advising us better, we would have stayed. So sad too. We did go to los claros, an amazing restaurant to the right, right after the arch you walk through after walking the entire pier. Best guacamole I've ever had!! The waiter even stapled oir dollar bill with our names and cities up on the rafters with others. Super fun! The guys got HUGE sombreros which , if you were on the may 11th sailing, you would know who we were bc my husband wore it on the ship and stood out like a sore thumb!

We visited Todos Santos which is about an hour north. Tour guide Rudy and driver Oscar were excellent. We had lunch at the Hotel California ( an old hotel from the 1920s). Saw whale spouts and splash returning to the ship. This port is tendered.

Typical Mexican tourist town...but nice. Walked the town , did a water taxi to the beach, ate at The Office, the water taxi back with detour out to the Arch and surrooundings. Nice day
