We loved the lighthouse and bird sanctuary. The road can get crowded later in the day. ATV rides provide an opportunity to view beautiful scenery and have a lot of fun.

Rent a car. Drive to Hona lea. Drive to Waimea Canyon. Go snorkeling at Poipou.

My favorite excursion went to see the Allerton Gardens. We also did the luau with mansion tour. The show was great. Food was good. Mansion is basically a tourist trap of shops.

Day 6 Kauai we did the Canopy Zipline (try Kauai Backcountry). There where 7 lines and these were the best on Hawaii (bring a camera). That night we did the Luau and Train - not my thing but Nic insisted. Day 7 we went on the mud buggies (try Kauai ATV) and had a blast. We were soaked, bring a poncho.

The garden paradise and river cruise were nice but way to rushed. Didn't have time to take picture or walk around and enjoy the flowers was disappointed. The music and dancing on the river cruise was nice. Overall this excursion was overpriced .
