This was our favorite island. It's not nearly as busy as the other islands. Our tour driver, Hilary, was the best of the whole trip. He made Kauai, it's people, it's past and it's present come to life for us.

Don't do the fern grotto. It's a waste of time and money. I was not that impressed by the Luau diner neither. The so called river cruise was nothing more then 2 times 20 min on a barge with 150 people.
