Rented a car and went to Waimea canyon and fern grotto - Awesome. Napoli cost line on leaving was a beautiful site. Only seen by Helicopter or Cruise ship. Again rented a car to visit Waimea and falls. Really cuts down the cost of seeing these sites.

Rented a car and and paddle-boarded Wailua River. Drove to Hanalei Bay. Also returned to island after cruise and saw amazing Na Pali coast, Waimea Canyon, Kokee Forest.

Caught a free shuttle to the mall. My favorite beautician works at Regis, so I got my hair cut while in port. We have done all the tours on previous cruises.

Great port with a free shuttle into town. The town is microscopic but it’s better than the ship. Did Best of Kauai through the ship. The bus was so dirty on the outside I couldn’t take photos from in the bus. Great tour though. The next day did the Kauai Movie Tour through the ship and while the locations were beautiful the tour itself felt lackluster. The driver was messing with the movie screen while he was driving. That scared me. It really needed a driver and a separate guide. I hadn’t seen or heard of most of the movies highlighted on the tour.

Port is away from any town and there is not much to do unless you purchase an excursion.
