The excursions were very good but a little pricey. Our stateroom was a disappointment as well as the dining experience. I would like to have been told to book the dining earlier in the cruise. We have never had to to go buffet for dinner before

waiters were very good in the buffet dining; the one time we ate in the main dining , the waiter was slow and forgot things we asked for
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
ship was clean and easy to negotiate but not enough supervision of towel placement at pools;
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The room design was very bad and difficult to navigate around the bed; the shower was too tiny and we not large people
Ship tip
for anyone choosing to cruise, ask for a larger room and make reservations asap for dining
We went to the Ocean Aquarium on our own. and took the excursion to the Haleakala crater which was very good with an excellant Hawaiian director; the hike to the waterfalls was too long and had only one good waterfall at the end. I would not recommend this
The rainbow Falls were a disappointment, no rainbow; the rest of the tour of the volcano was good as well as the macadamia stop although no tour of the factory; the orchid stop was good
For non buffet no specialty there are the Liberty and Skyline restaurants. Good menus. One has a dress code of collared shirt and long pants for guys. Best to book reservations for dinner.
All our cruises had buffets. True about specialty restaurants. We always book them for the first nights right we get aboard or in advance if possible. But by eing on NCL ships and POA be efore, we know this. Buffet pretty good for smaller size cruise.
