Tendering was a problem here. We had a long wait to get back the ship. This was beyond Princess’s control. The port control weren’t allowing the ship’s tenders access as they should have.

Beautiful...the Banyon Tree is always amazing when you realize that all of that is one tree...bought a whale watching trip off ship...saved money and saw two calves close to us...both were playing and breaching...it was incredibly memorable...had excellent shaved ice...sadly the church I like to visit here was closed...but overall...this will always be my favorite Hawaiian port

British day, sunbathing, shopping then lunch and cocktails in Fleetwoods bar. Now these are real cocktails. Loved it and the tendering.

Another favourite little town. But the tendering process...well let’s just say there is much room for improvement. Logistics of moving thousands of people back and forth need to be addressed. The long wait times on ship and then on land were gruelling. I suspect this will improve with time.

We rented a car for the two days. Makai glass was amazing!! A must see. The art here is crazy good!! Be sure to check out the vast galleries. The pineapple is a must here too.
