this is a tender port, which tends to bog down early on. Not much to see and do at this stop, although it is possible to just walk around here as versus the other stops.

Nice port. Just wandered around and visited Kona Brewery. GREAT BEER! Got lost for a while wandering back to the ship so got a lot of walking in here. :)

We did not do an excursion here but walked around the port area and went to Walmart. I felt very safe at Kona.

Kona was easy to navigate, as well. We were able to schedule a tour of Kona Brewery through the brewery and got there on time for a great tour.

Caught the trolly for $2 and rode around to see what the town had to offer. I am not a beach person, but this was a good way to get dropped off at public beaches. People in my group had a good time at the Seahorse excursion and Submarine Tour.
