Once you get past the ship is an older ship and cabins are smaller than what you may be use to then you will have an amazing time. You spend most of your time off the ship exploring the amazing things that Hawaii has to offer. I never came across anyone rude or unwilling to help. The staff and the hawaiian people were friendly and welcoming. I love NCL and they may my Hawaiian experience amazing. Also, if you have the beverage package promo, bottled water is included.
Embarkation

I arrived around 4 pm and there was no line.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I ate at Liberty, Skyline (twice), Moderno, Teppanyaki, and Cagney's. Each night there were wonderful food options. The only issue is that it takes forever to get your food. Each dining experiences was about 2 hours. We missed the beginning of many of the shows due to our group of 22 dining time being at 7:30. We were not able to get a different dining time. Each table had a different waiter and it still took 2 hours.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I spent most of my time off of the ship. I really enjoyed the magic and comedy show and white hot party. I wish that they would schedule the painting class at 2 pm so that people who want to go on shore excursions will be able to attend. The painting class was at 1 pm on Friday. I was unable to go because the Journey to Waimea Canyon returned at 1 pm.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The magic and comedy show was amazing. I didn't get a chance to go to any other shows.
Children's Programs
I didn't have any children with me onboard.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The service and staff were a little slow at the dining restaurants.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It was one of NCLs smaller ships. It doesn't have a casino so if that is your thing you may miss it. Other than that it was fine.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin is a little smaller than their bigger ships. The group I was with found it to be a major issue. I read the reviews before I went and knew what to expect. If you are splitting the beds into two beds remove the tables between the bed. If not you barely have any room to walk between the shelf and the bed.
Ship tip
Book your dining before you get on the ship. Although there are plenty of empty tables, they do not fill them all. I guess they are short staffed. Reservations book fast especially in specialty dining venues.
I enjoyed going on the Pearl Harbor Honolulu City tour at the end of the cruise. My flight was not until 8:41 pm and it allowed us to pass the time with the 5 hour tour.
Loved shopping in Lahaina. Our bus was a little late picking us up, but it was not an issue. You will have to do an excursion (either through NCL or someone else) there is not much around the pier.
Did the Historical HIlo Tour. My mom and I had an amazing time. We went to see some waterfalls. Be prepared to walk up and down stairs for about 1/4 a mile to see the Azaka Falls.
Caught the trolly for $2 and rode around to see what the town had to offer. I am not a beach person, but this was a good way to get dropped off at public beaches. People in my group had a good time at the Seahorse excursion and Submarine Tour.
This by far the best port. It is beautiful. I can't even explain the beauty of Waimea Canyon. Also, watch out for chickens. I was in the botanical gardens and was almost attacked by one. LOL!!! The Fern Grotto was beautiful as well.
The coast is beautiful. Everyone says that the port side is the better side to be on. They start off on the port side and then they turn the ship around so the starboard side can see just as well. I went up to the pool area to watch it on the port side and went down to may balcony to watch it again on the starboard side.
