Of all the Hawaiian islands we visited, Kona was my favorite. Tender process was not horrible. It hardly rains on this side, yet it is simple beautiful. We didnt do an excursion, we just walked, shopped, ate, people watched, and just sat enjoying the beauty!!

This was a scheduled port but the captain and the weather did not allow us to stop here.

Again we booked a local tour company that offers smaller size tours. We were sorry that Marylou was full for this side of the Island so we booked with Mauka Maiki Adventures at their recommendation. Turned out we had a private tour of the coffee farm, historical and cultural sites, gorgeous beaches. Price was a bit more then Marylou but an excellent tour.
