ATV adventure was great. Children spend a day at the beach in Kana'apali. They loved it and would love to go back. Lu'au in Wialea was very nice.

Traffic very heavy (15 mph) on only road to West Coast snorkeling area, but worth the trip in own rental car. Snorkeling very easy to do on your own. No need to pay high cost of cruise ship excursion.

Need to get out of Kahului, but... Maui, too, has many wonderful places to see. The need for a car to get out of town reduces the attractiveness of this port. If you don't leave Kahului the ALE HOUSE is nearby; it's the crew's favorite local watering hole. Sports bar - good food, etc.

The Haleakula crater was wonderful as well as the whale watch sunset cruise. I also did the rainforest, waterfall hike. Excellent and Randy is one of the best tour guides I had.

Loved the snorkeling and the sunset at Haleakala Crater. The bike ride down Haleakala was not a favorite.
