Went on a Whale Watching excursion and it was our choice over about 4 desirable activities we wanted to do. It was a pleasure. There are many choices, but you only have time to do one. I don't think you can really do more that one excursion per day.

Everyone enjoyed this island ,we used the hop on/ hop off bus to get to several beaches and were even able to swim with the turtles.

Rented a car and did our own touring. It’s a long walk out to the shopping center across the street.

Rented a car for 2 days for less than the cost of one excursion on the ship. The rental car companies have transport to and from the ship. Very easy! We saw so many places and had so many experiences that the freedom of a car gave.

Maui is a beautiful place. We snorkeled at Molokini Crater, swam with the sea turtles and also took the Road to Hana.

Rented speedsters from Maui Roadsters. Awesome cars, but no air conditioning, power steering and stick shift made for a long, hot drive on the road to Hana. Very few places to safely stop and park on the winding roads! Sunrise crater excursion was breathtaking!!! You need to leave the boat at 2:45am to see it though 😴

Did the Road to Hana through Valley Isle Excursions. Best excursion of the cruise. Took an Uber up to Iao Valley and it was worth the trip.

Favorite port. Went on the Plantation tour. Raining very hard. Got soaked. Not worth the $$. Rented a car on day two and did our own thing. Very fun.

All rental car companies need access. Too long of a walk for many and some of us don't care about excursions as we like to drive the island. Keep us in mind.
