We stayed 4 days after the cruise in order to see Shangri-La, Pearl Harbor, the North shore etc.

Took the city bus over to the Cluture Center. Felt it was over priced. Went to Pearl Harbor, there was a 2.5 hour wait to take the ferry over to the Arziona

Do an excursion if first time. Hop on, Hop off is good, Can take all day, so shopping maybe out depending on which one you buy.

Stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village for three more days. Would have been nice to have a tour to choose from on last day that didnot involve airport transfer. Like Pearl Harbor for example.
