Loved this port. I visited the Cathedral of Santiago and it was incredible. I loved it.

The port is very close to the city, 5-10 minutes walk. We saw the statue of Jules Verne. Castles San Sebastián and Del Castro which we would have liked to see, unfortunately no directions to get there.

Didn't visit this port due to Storm Ciaran being hot on our heals!!! Good decision by the captain.

Galicia excursion met at 7:40 am (one of the earlier excursions), but it was well worth it. Daniel (History graduate) was an excellent, informative guide both during the bus rides and a walking tour ... probably one of the best I've ever had. Spoke of the pilgrimages leading to the shrine of the apostle James in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition holds that the remains of the apostle are buried. Made valuable recommendations as far as timing and order of visit to the church and to see the remains, as well as places to eat and highlights of the city to consider visiting. Would have liked more time, but all aboard time was 2:30 pm and we arrived back at 2:20 pm Very well organized tour.

Due to havjng to stop overnight because of a emergency. We left the ship at 11.15pm. To see the Xmas lights. They blew us away. The best we have seen ever. So glad we went into Virgo. Spectacular.

Didn't do much as it was Raining. The shopping centre next to the ship has lost a lot shops - pretty disappointing
