What can one say: Venice! You do need to be reasonably fit to get around here: it is not a wheelchair-friendly place and getting about requires walking and stair-climbing abilities.

There was a long walk to the ship from the water bus stop. If the cruise line had told us, we would have taken their launch service from St Mark's square.
