Used the vaporettos all the time. GREAT value and you get so see the city without spending a whole lot of money. If you have extra time- rent a car and travelthrough the Dolomites, which are to the north of the city. Absoluely stunning- great history, beautiful villages and the flowers on the homes (chalet style homes) were indescribable- truly one of the "garden spots' of Europe.
