Too much to see and do. I will continue on my next visit to Venice in about 4 more cruises when I take RCCLs Rhapsody of the Seas in August 2019. The water taxis are just great. I had visited Venice on a spring break in high school and remembered it being wistful....over 20 years later, it still is! The preservation of cities in Europe is astoundingly amazing.

We extended our trip by staying in Venice four two nights after we disembarked. I planned transportation ahead of time and was in St. Mark's square prior to opening that morning. I could have used one extra day in Venice, it was extraordinary.

The ships dock close enough to navigate the People Mover and vaparetto on your own. The information counter at the end of the People Mover was very helpful!

We spent a week there in an airbnb in Mogliano, veneto, and trained in. The apt. was huge, good town to walk around and dine. In Venice we booked the Venzia Unica for the one week Vaporetto and museum pass http://www.veneziaunica.it/ Well worth it. San Marco (check back pack to skip the line), Companile (get ticket on line and pay extra 2 Eur to skip the line )
