We took a private tour to Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. We stopped in Sorrento to taste the local limoncello and bought some to bring home with us. The Amalfi coast is breathtKing, even on a gray day. Our tour included lunch in the town of Amalfi. We drove through Positano and Ravello as well as Salerno. Pompeii was so amazing to see ( and heartbreaking in the tragedy of it all) and wish we had more time to experience it.

Naples is crazy. But we took a tour to Positano and drove through the Amalfi Coast then to Pompeii. The Amalfi coast is a most see. Pompeii is extraordinary. We also stopped in Sorento for some Limoncello.

We took a ship excursion to Pompeii- well worth the trip and highly recommend it. I’m glad we didn’t try and fit other stops into the one day. Our guide Umberto was great.

Skip naples... go to Capri, Pompeii, and Sorrento. Try to book outside of RC.
