The good; Pompeii is full of sad history, but very interesting. The bad; Sorrento and Amalfi Coast is such a tourist trap, it over developed and so much tourist junk everywhere. (I know, we are on a giant cruise ship, what do I suppose to expect😊) The ugly; Naples, specially near the port area. Some minor history but mostly it’s dirty and ugly. Wish I like this port better.

Amazing, go to Pompeii, do beautiful and eyeopening! Beautiful place with mt Vesuvius dominating the skyline. The best port we visited, you could go to the island of Capri, Pompeii, etc, it's a beautiful place, a must!

We took the ship excursion to Pompeii, which I am sure is on the to-do list for many people. It was very interesting to walk among the ruins, although we could have used a bit more time there.

Naples is a big busy, city, but dont let that put you off, we felt very safe in the city, yes its dirty but what big city isn't. the shopping is amazing. if you have done the amalfi coast, got to the city, the people and the streets are amazing.
