We did an 8 day B2B of the same ports. As we had a full day tour planned for one visit we decided to do something in Naples. We found the Catacombs of San Gennaro. Initially we tried to figure out how to use public transport but we decided to just get a taxi, I can’t remember what it cost but it wasn’t much. Arrange a return because we did have some trouble trying to arrange a pick up afterwards but the staff at the catacombs sorted it out for us. The tickets for the catacombs included a tour guide. There was only about 10 of us altogether. Very interesting tour, if you are on a budget I really recommend this tour & something I absolutely loved in the August heat it was lush to be cool for an hour or so.

Should have had buses to go up to Capri; or avoided Capri completelyPompei is fime but too much ruins for one trip. Never got to see any of Napoli. Tour was very poorly arranged and a lot of time was wasted.

We had been to Naples before so we booked a private tour to Herculaneum, Veiled Christ and a seaside lunch.

So much here: Naples, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast. You can't go wrong in any of 'em.

We went in the taste of Sorrento and Pompeii small group tour. Let me start by saying that our guide Mario was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, able to manage the group and navigate the crowds. The trip to the farm was nice and the food taking excellent. I enjoyed the 3D classes in Pompeii much more than expected. This tour was disappointing because we had each paid an extra $100 or so to be part of a small group tour. This tour had 22 people on a large bus and combined with a similar group for many of the stops. I believe there could have been 30+ people in each group! This is not what I consider to be a small group. Like many tours, this one at times felt more like an “opportunity” to shop in recommend stores than a tour.
