Port was very nice went to Pompeii and the volcano through Viator because it was a lot cheaper than the ship Excursion was awesome

Great private tour of the Amalfi Coast with Bestourofitaly. Private SUV,air conditioned, super Clean, knowledgeable local guide Luigi was a wonderful guide and knew all the best spots for the best photos. My husband is in a wheelchair so he got even more care.

Amalfi coast was absolutely gorgeous. Pompeii was very interesting (but can be hot). We had a PHD in archeology as a private guide in Pompeii which was a definite benefit. He could read the graffiti on the walls! I did not expect to enjoy this port as much as I did.

We had a weird day because we were stuck due to a forest fire near Vesuvius. However I recommend doing either Vesuvius or Pompeii not both as Pompeii is huge.

We did a local bus tour here which was interesting and had an amazing pizza (try Pomodoro Rosso by the waterfront). However the city was also incredibly full of cars and their exhaust fumes which was not so great for exploring on foot.

Naples was a great city in my opinion. A little gritty in areas but unassuming, historical city that deserves a second look with great food options. Next time, I would do an excursion and see the amalfi coast or Capri as it is also beautiful.

We did the Exclusive Amalfi Coast & Pompeii excursion and loved it. We didn't have enough time to see much, but we loved what we saw. I especially enjoyed exploring Pompeii.
