I did not see any of Naples because I had a 10 hour excursion to Capri and Pompeii. I was sorry to miss the city but Pompeii was definitely worth it. It gave me chills! While Capri was one of the most picturesque places I have ever been, I did not have enough time there to get a good feel of it and it was far too expensive for shopping.

Did a bus tour of Sorrento, Positano, and the Amalfi coastline. Had lunch overlooking the beautiful Mediterrean.

We shared a cab out to Pompeii with another couple, and again saved money while still touring Pompeii for 2 hours. If you walk around Naples, get a good map. The streets are mostly unmarked, and it's easy to get lost.
