Lanzarote is a very accessible port on Arrecife. Just walk off the ship and you’ll be in town in about 20 minutes. Beautiful marina with several shops and restaurants right at the pier. Once you’re in town you’ve got several more dining options with outdoor seating. We enjoyed the fresh catch of the day for lunch at El Principe Cafe. Plenty of shopping in town, too.

Will. It be going back. We hired a car and it was 35€for the day. One third of ship prices and much more fun and there is only a few things to see anyway.

Beautiful beaches vs volcanic landscape. Very unusual!

We went down to Puerto del Carmen area (Playa Grande Beach) and it was nice, but nothing spectacular. The sand is very dark brown and hot. Never once saw a white sand beach like advertised

My favorite island on the whole cruise. The beaches are amazing! Papagayo is awesome. We did a catamaran in the morning and then took a private tour in a van around the island and it was incredible. Just breathtaking views! Neither excursion was through the ship. We used Viator.

We weren't feeling the best so we did not do anything here but get off the ship and walk the thousand miles to the shopping area, and turn around to go back. Probably would have liked it better had we done the volcano/cave/camel excursion we'd planned.

If you like wine, there's an amazing wine tour. We spent the whole day on the tour and had an amazing time. You see a lot of the island and experience some of the rarest wines in the world.
