Did Porvoo- Town and Country. We visited a horse farm. Had my first elder juice and great hospitality. Wonderful tour.

Helsinki ranked #2 of the cities we visited. We took the tram into town (no cash accepted at the ticket machine, and heads up, there is more than one machine at the tram stop - folks were queue'd up to get tickets and it took a little while to figure the machine out) and found the meeting spot for the excursion we organized on our own. We used Happy Bikes Helsinki to create a private bike tour for us and the guide. They made booking easy via email and were helpful with directions on public transportation use to find them. Plenty of time in town for a five hour bike ride (historic city center, and arts and archipelago combination).

The Soviet influence is obvious here. Limited signs in English. Do not waste money on the excursions. It is possible to navigate on foot once you take the shuttle to town.

Hop-On/Hop-Off bus served as well -- but it's not needed.

Nice port but every excursion ends up taking you to Senate Square. Not as much variety as other ports.

This was one of the best ports. The marketplace was terrific. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time to take a boat excursion while there. But the food was fresh and delicious. The weather was great. This is a place that I would love to visit again.

Heard it rains almost everyday, so it would be a good idea to wear a hooded jacket or bring an umbrella.
