Cadiz is a beautiful port to stop at. I tend to walk around the town. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. Also a good thing to do is walk up the cathedral and look inside. The walk up is not far but is quite steep. It is on a slope with a rope to help you. It tends to take 5-10 mins depending on you and you don't have to rush- you can go at your own pace. One up there it is beautiful. With panoramic views- seeing right out to the sea. Also in the cathedral itself is fascinating.

Other than the visit to Corinth at Athens this tour rated one of the best we experienced during the 16 ports we visited this voyage. We went to a home in the wine country and spent about three hours there with the family of the large estate who had us making Spanish tapas and doing much more. Excellent ship excursion.

Was there last year and saw Cadiz so this year took a small excursion private tour to Seville and wow that is beautiful. The tile work is breathtaking along with really nice architecture. Actually much more interesting than Cadiz if you only have one day.

We took the all day excursion to "Stunning Seville." The only thing that was stunned was ourselves after a very early start and lots of waiting for our 10 minute turn in the packed cathedral. Lunch was included in the excursion price, but was chaotic, inefficient, and underwhelming. Most of the day was spent on the bus going at two speeds -- slow and stopped.

Out of Italy, France, Monaco and England, we were surprised to see that SPAIN was the cleanest, most beautiful port on the trip. We walked around and really enjoyed the sites.
