It was hot and sunny on this day and it made all the difference. We didn’t book an excursion but just walked past the marina along the waterfront to the beach, which was almost completely empty!

The ship berthed in Arrecife and ran a shuttle bus to Portu del Carmen and we spent 4 hours here looking in shops and on the beach

Wandered to local castle, shops and lagoon area where there were plenty of bars to sit in the sun.

Cute island, I highly recommend seeing the green caves. They are far, and you will need a tour, but it’s worth it if you can get one on Viator or Get Your Guide!

Don't miss excursions to the winery/volcano. Once in a lifetime experience.

A wonderful port to walk around on your own.

Probably my favourite Canary Island! Loved the promenade walk along to the Fortress with lots of cafes along the waterfront. Reminded me of Greece with the stark contrast of blue shutters and white houses!

Fire Mountain Trip is a must... very Scenic. Got back in plenty of time to hop on the transfer bus to Arrecife and had a cold beer or two near the small Marina.

We did an excursion to Fire Mountain which was excellent, not sure what the port was like as we were picked up from the ship.
