Review summary

A fantastic trip enjoyed it so much we are back onboard in May βœˆοΈπŸ›³πŸΎπŸ₯‚πŸŒ…

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were met at the Airport by the Marella team who gave us our luggage labels and when we arrived at the ship and straight onboard

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in Latitude 53 the main waiter dinning room for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with excellent food and service. We had a meal in the Surf and Turf restaurant which has an extra charge but well worth it. We also booked the musical afternoon tea which was served in the dining club and this was a fantastic afternoon.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The ship has a mini golf course as well as a gamers lounge and a library with books and games to take away.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Marella have a different show every evening and the show team are as good as any Westend show cast. Silent disco in the Indigo night club which also has musicians in the early evening. The lounge bar has a pink piano and is great to go to before or after dinner and shows.

Children's Programs

We did not have any children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Donald our room steward was brilliant, and all the crew, entertainment team are so friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was brilliantly clean with the normal ongoing painting of different areas on deck to keep it looking good

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was a junior suite on deck 12 which meant we had no over hang for half of the balcony which is huge. It comes with two sun beds a hammock and a small table to have between the sun beds and a table and 2 chairs. The cabin itself was very clean and tidy

Ship tip

Have fun

Ports of call

Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands

5 out of 5
Embarked at this Port but just a short walk through the town is a fantastic beach which at this time of year has a massive Nativity scene made from sand.

Santa Cruz De La Palma, Canary Islands

4 out of 5
Very easy to get to the town just follow the blue line on the pavement to the town centre

Funchal, Madeira

5 out of 5
Again easy to do on your own depending where the ship berths it’s about 20 walk in to the town. At Christmas the Christmas lights are switched on at 6pm and are fantastic.

Agadir, Morocco Did not visit port

Have visited before and not to our taste

Arrecife, Lanzarote, Canary Islands

5 out of 5
The ship berthed in Arrecife and ran a shuttle bus to Portu del Carmen and we spent 4 hours here looking in shops and on the beach

Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Canary Islands

5 out of 5
Another Port which is really easy to do on your own. A 5 minute walk again following the blue line into town, lots of shops and sites to see.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy straight from ship onto the waiting coach to the airport
