Probably our favourite stop, we done the fjord cruise which was out of this world, then we climbed the 418 steps up to the observation point looking out over the whole town. We then made our way back down and strolled around the town center.

Troll cruise took up whole of stay here. Great scenery and good buffet lunch included.

Jugend Stil (Art Noveau) buildings and first opportunity to get local currency. Unfortunately, the town is small and there was another ship in port. which it feel crowded. It was a gloomy day, too.

Visited the Aquarium and it was a good choice ! The outside areas were stunning with views to die for. The sea lions, seals and otters were also in this area. For families there were lots of interactive things for the children.

Alesund was fantastic. We did an excursion to the ocean centre and loved it thoroughly. My wife just went because I wanted to go and she loved the whole experience. The tour though the city was beautiful and we last stop up the mountain was fantastic. I got amazing pictures.
