Nothing much to see. We didn't go on an excursion and went on an hop-on hop-off bus tour instead. The did both red and blue lines and was over in about two hours.

We took the Valley of the Temples tour, which for history buffs is also a don't miss site! Incredible temples, and good tour, but tiring for smaller children. They didn't take us to a store to do some tourist shopping! :-<

We opted for a horse drawn cart to take is sight seeing around the city, be careful as your told it's €80 for 2 hours, then after 1 hour and 15 mins the man told us it would be another €30 euros to take us back to the ship or we could get a taxi, we agreed to pay the extra and when we arrived back at the ship he told us it was €190 as we had 2 hours at €80 per hour and the extra €30 for taking us back, we argued with him and paid him €110, we were angry that we had been miss lead, so make sure you don't fall asleep n the same trap !

Did not do an excursion here. Took a taxi to visit the Catacombs of the Capuchins. Of all the ports we visited, this was probably my least favorite port. But glad to have been able to see it/

We booked a private Sicilian wine tour with Alessandro with Sicilian Wine Tours. He picked us up at the port and took us to two small wineriers outside of Palermo and ended the afternoon with lunch in a market of typical Sicilian foods. It was absolutely amazing and only cost 140 euros for my boyfriend and I for the entire day and it was just the two of us and the guide. By far one of our most favorite ports.
