The port can be a little hectic. When you walk out, you are on an extremely busy street. It was busy. We did a street food tour and had a great time.

Home of the Godfather and not much more. There is a hop-on/hop-off that can be used.

This ported in Messina, not Palermo. However, wished we'd had more time to visit. Excursion to Taormina and of Messina and it was great. Beautiful views of Mt. Etna erupting and of the coast in Taormina. Loved the walking tour in Taormina and the shopping!

We took a taxi to the Praying Mountain of Rosalia. Which has helped me to get beyond the fears of Heights. Amazing views, nice towns men and great ice cream....

Many taxi drivers aggressive trying to sell a ride. Dirty. Many parking cars blocking the crosswalks.
