We did an excursion to Eze. Beautiful little spot. But left no time to explore Nice and would probably just go on our own to Nice next time.

Both Villefranche and Nice were great. Very easy and inexpensive to take the bus to Nice, but of course, the ship would not tell you that. They want to sell you something.

Took the train in Nice. Spent the morning on the Promenade de Anglais and returned to Villefranche-Sur-Mer and spent the afternoon playing at the beach. Beautiful port, close to train station.

We took the tour to Monaco and Monte Carlo - it was very good and we had a guide that told us the history and was very informative. We were not able to get in the large casino as they do not open for gambling until 2PM but we did go to the smaller casino and enjoyed that.

Absolutely love this place!! It was love at first sight! We did the Hop on, hop off bus to Nice from Villefranche that morning and spent time at the beach in Nice. Later that afternoon we took the local bus to Monte Carlo and walked around touring the town.
