Tenders needed here, you head up for a ticket number then wait to be called......an injury occurred here as the sea moved the steps and someone stood too close to them. €6 for a return train ticket to Monaco _ train every 30 mins

Called in here on our cruise and liked the place so much that we came back for a week’s holiday. Good rail links, lovely bars and restaurants, interesting harbour. Brilliant!

Great little village. As it was the first proper day of the cruise and we were very tired, we decided to just walk around here rather than our original plan of taking the train to Monaco. We were pleasantly surprised by this attractive little port. Picturesque and good souvenir shopping opportunities. It’s set on quite a steep hill with lots of steps, so would not be suitable for wheelchairs. However, the promenade is flat with cafes and shops so the hill shouldn’t put any wheelchair users off. It just means that not everywhere is wheelchair accessible. The tender from the ship was well organised and pretty quick. Would definitely recommend Villefrance for a nice stroll, lovely views of the Mediterranean and cafes/shops

We go in by tender which is always exciting and unique. We had a wander round the town followed by a pizza and a bottle of wine in the sun
