Don't go ashore unless you have an excursion. We felt like we were in great danger and almost "beheaded".

Moored at Las Seyne sur Mer walked into the local village, lovely market, beautiful little French town. Took the 2€ ferry to Toulon, enjoyed coffee and crepes on the sea front followed by a tour of Toulon on the tourist train. Ferry back to ship. Lovely day.

This port seems to be good only for excursions to other areas- the port city itself was not very nice- navy town with sex shops on every other corner? Not what we were looking for...

Didn't care for this at all. Felt it was just a "filler" stop.
