Answer QuestionA: While we were in Lisbon last year November I booked excursions with Viator. Had a really nice time. If this will be something for a port day in that city be sure to let them know what time you need to be at the ship.

A: Yes. They are run by Shore Excursions Group which I have not booked specifically through the site but have booked many times directly through them. They are probably the most popular 3rd party excursion site. Often the same excursions as the cruise l... ine but cheaper (but not always). Good cancelation policy (one short phone call & refund fast). They guarantee to get you back to the ship in time. Highly recommend.See More

A: I used Viator several times. I like the cancellation policies. They are very flexible and prices are competitive. I never had any issues.

Answer QuestionA: We visited a few years ago and were a bit disappointed if honest. We had a guided tour around the mansion and gardens expecting to gain some interesting facts about the place but it was a whirlwind walkabout followed by free time which was too long.... I do think the enjoyment of an excursion depends on the guide though in terms of how s/he engages and shares knowledge with a group.See More

A: Honestly can't remember much else about it. Do however remember being slightly disappointed by it.

A: we have been Docked at various points of the river from the 25th April bridge near a nice marina area with restaurants and bars, all the way up beyond the bridge near Jerónimos Monastery, the resting place of Vasco da gama. Either way its an interest... ing walk to the main drag. We avoid the main road preferring to head up hill off the main road then wander through the narrower streets, we have found many a nice watering hole that way.See More

A: I have been with P&O twice and both times was a 10 minute walk to the big square. Nice and handy to just walk off.

A: I think it depends on which cruise company you're with. I've been twice (first with Royal Caribbean, and second with P&O) and the seemed to have docked in different places. 😕
