Not long enough in Sintra to do or see much when we did this excursion with P&O

We visited a few years ago and were a bit disappointed if honest. We had a guided tour around the mansion and gardens expecting to gain some interesting facts about the place but it was a whirlwind walkabout followed by free time which was too long. I do think the enjoyment of an excursion depends on the guide though in terms of how s/he engages and shares knowledge with a group.

Honestly can't remember much else about it. Do however remember being slightly disappointed by it.

that is what I feared! what is the layout of the day like? how much time did you get at Quinta da regaleira? did you get free time or was it all guided? thanks for your reply
