We caught the shuttle into the city. Found a nice memorial park, the cathedral was under renovations, so we couldn't enter. The streets we visited had many boarded up shops, with pavements littered with rubbish & dog ... We wish we'd taken the shore excursion to Hornflur, as those we spoke to post excursion said it was beautiful & in complete contrast to Le Havre.

We took the excursion to Hon Fleur, which is a nice sea-side town with lots of small cafes. It was pouring down rain, so we didn't enjoy it much, but as it was my first day off the ship (after nine days at sea), I enjoyed it.
