Did the Cinque Terre tour and it was fine. The guide did not appear trained to provide historical information, but was a good escort. Great lunch in a seaside restaurant

Horrible port, Industrial because of ships size. Went to Potofino, Ravballo, beautiful.

2nd visit. Florence Just as beautiful as I remembered. Did the ships excursion a taste of Florence. Excellent guide but I saw no need to waste 45 minutes at a leather factory which ate into our time in Florence.

Hire a tour to see Florence & Pisa. The busses have to park far away from both cities and you will spend time walking to get to the sites. Small van tours drop you off at the sites.

Florence is a 2-hour bus ride. The crowds are overwhelming turning the tourist areas into a quagmire. Forget about getting into any of the major sites. The lines are way too long. Good values on leather goods at Misuri.
