I feel overwhelming with how big the ship and too many people. To me, it’s not relaxing n will never go on a ginormous ship again! Quantity over quality is not my thing, no wow factor on the ship...it’s just a small floating town .
Embarkation

The clerk were blah... she didn’t even give us any information on anything...just gave us our pass n shove us on our way. I asked her to punch hole in the card for our lanyard n she ignored me n just walked away.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Nothing special...out of the 5 nights at the dining hall...one meal was good.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Zip line was short, pools were tinny for the amount of people, rock climbing walls were good but with all the activity...there are only certain hours of operation n you have to sign up for certain time
Entertainment
2 out of 5
All show was sub par...I slept through Cats, hubby leave after 10 minutes. Acquanation is just synchronize diving...it was so so. Come Fly with me...has a theme but no story line n nothing ties together. Just a bunch of song n dance about adventures. Frozen in time is an ice skating show...its average...there were a few falls n because the rink is small it’s not a great venue for skating either.
Service and Staff

They were good, attentive, n nice.
Ship Quality

Aside from being large...nothing to boast about. So the glories of the boat is the boardwalk n Central Park...there isn’t a grand focal point for viewing enjoyment. Their dining rooms do not have a view. There isn’t a grand lounge for getting together that has a grand view.
Overall...quantity over quality n bad design planning!
Cabin / Stateroom

You got 1.5 feet from the wall to the bed n once the sofa bed is rolled out...no room to walk to the balcony. Meh.:(
Ship tip
It’s a crowded ship...they will want to bleed you dry of your wallet from drinks to activity’s. Just know that most of your alcohol will be about $15 after tax...if you have more than 4drinks per day, get yourself the alcohol package. However, you can bring 2bottles of wine on board n use it at dinner. They allowed you to do that.
We went to Tarquinia instead of Rome on our own ... it was a smart move! Here is why... beautiful, less people, food was great, and we didn’t have to knock into anyone. Here is how we did it without wasting 80€/person.
To tarquinia...from cruise ship. Go to the magazines stand (pics below) buy the bus ticket for 1.3€ each way. Then goes to the bus stop the on the other side of the street next to the gas station. Get on the Blue bus going to Tarquinia. They stops at the city center. There is a tourist information office right at the stop...get your info n be on your way to an excursion of a cute little town. When you are done, go back to the same place to catch the bus back for 1.3€
Busy place...there is a lot of things to do n see here...we did a hop on hop off bus n walk around. Just remember the shop further away from the port will have regular price...the price of café around the port will be twice as much but still cheap
There are a lot of things to do here...goes through Viator instead of the ship activities it’s much cheaper n more affordable
We went to kayak to caves along the shoreline.
