Rented a cab & driver for 25 euros for the entire day. Saw everything. Best way to see the island. Be advised if its Sunday you will not be able to sample the famous port wine.

Done the tuu organised tour included the cable car, and botanical Gardens. Vey well organised. Went down on the wicjer baskets, such good fun.

We pre booked afternoon tea at Reid’s Palace Hotel and were given a table at the front of the verandah with stunning views of the port of Funchal.we enjoyed walking through the streets and sightseeing here.

2nd time to the island and only a light shower this time. Fantastic toboggan ride down the hill. Took a taxi from the ship who waited at the bottom of the run and the took us back up the hill for the cable car
