We stayed in Cologne after the AM tour (included) to have more time, then walked back to the ship to catch the optional tour of UNESCO Bruhl Palace.

Our guide was A+. Saw the Cathedral which was breathtaking in itself. We did our own shopping tour and then stayed on the ship for the evening because we do not drink beer and that was the trip for nthe evening.

beautiful destination, the Christmas markets are AWESOME. The included excursion was informative and left us in the middle of everything so we had less walking to do and could maximize our time in this destination
