City very nice and I liked the fact that they had free public restrooms. I purchased a ticket with the "Hop on-Hop off" red bus with the "Sightseeing" company. I did not purchase a ticket with the Red Bus "Hop on-hop off", but was trying to purchase a ticket. It was a complete disaster. This company only sent 4 buses and even passengers that purchased advanced tickets on board could not catch a bus. Luckily the mentioned the option of catching a bus with the other company at 3 min walk. The experience with this company was excellent. I believe Royal Caribbean should advise the passengers of this option because it is excellent.

This was my favourite port of call. There is so much to see and do in Stockholm, but don't miss the sail in - it is absolutely beautiful. Once the ship is docked it's a 20 minute walk into the city itself and the Gamla Stan (Old Town) is right on your doorstep. Getting about is really easy with the regular passenger ferry service running between all of the islands that make up Stockholm. It's very reasonably priced and easy to use. Favourite attractions included the Vasa Museum and of course the unmissable ABBA museum!

Great port of call. However the "Stockholm on your own" advertises three stops, one of them being the city hall. However all the main attractions in the city hall are inside, which is viewable only by a 45 minute guided tour, and the excursion bus only stopped there for 30 minutes! Worthless. We abandoned the excursion at this point and had a great tour of City Hall, rejoining the excursion only at the very end to get back to the ship, using city transit otherwise.

Weather wasnt great when we were in Stockholm but luckily it brightened as we sailed out - dont miss the sail away through the archipelago - really beautiful. We walked from the terminal into town which took about 30 mins. Then got a ticket for use on public transport which includes the water taxis. Vasa Museum and ABBA Museum both well worth a visit and are very close together.

It rained in the day I was here and was surprised by the number of people who forgot umbrellas. Pack tiny umbrella so the rain doesn’t bother you. Took tour to Vaasa Museum, City Hall and time on our own. Our guide while informative, she did not have headsets/earbud devices for us and we all were clueless as to what she was saying. This was a small group tour (26) and I learned nothing. Very disappointed in the inability to hear anything. RCL MUST insist that ALL tour have these devises. Ask when you book your tour. Short time on own- May an hour and ten minutes to eat and shop. Not enough. I ate at a snack at a cafe and nearly had time to shop.

At this port, we caught an Uber over to Djursgarden to visit the Vasa Museum. This museum is a must. Then we walked into town to visit the History Museum (free) this was also very good. We then walked to town for a quick look around. Unfortunately, we weren't in port that long so didn't get to see everything. An excuse to go back...
